Mr. Kenneth E. Barnes, Sr., and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) personally invite you to join us on Saturday, March 18 at Laurel Race Park as ROOT and NOBLE host the "2nd Annual Racing to Eradicate Gun Violence Day" Fundraiser. As you are aware, ROOT is dedicated in its tireless efforts in its campaign against gun violence and homicide. NOBLE has joined ROOT in its campaign to reduce gun violence in communities both locally and nationally.

Featured in our January Newsletter were highlights from the youth forums ROOT, in collaboration with NOBLE, and the District of Columbia Department of Health held at the University of the District of Columbia on January 30 and 31. During the month of January ROOT spread its message of "Guns Aside" to over 3,000 youth. In an effort to continue this and future events, we need your financial support.

On Saturday, March 18 from 12pm to 5pm you, your agency, or your company can support both ROOT and NOBLE financially, as well as enjoy a day at the races, while feasting on a lavish buffet, open premium bar, and listening to live musical entertainment.

Prince George's County Chief of Police Melvin High will be honored and you will enjoy a special performance by national and international recording artist Raheem DeVaughn. Contributions for individual tickets are $75 and for couples $125. We also have the following sponsorship levels available for companies. All contributions are tax deductible.
